Built to the brand book, not to a catalogue
A national retailer's fixture package is a specification document, not a shopping list. Shelf pitch, bracket type, finish codes, lighting temperature and the exact profile of a bracket are all fixed, because a customer walking into the Dehradun store should not be able to tell it apart from the Delhi one.
On the Louis Philippe store in Delhi the fixture package used industrial-chic wooden and metal shelving with integrated lighting across 1,800 sq.ft. of trading floor. The same discipline applies whether the run is one store or eight.
Materials and finishes
Fixture work across completed projects has used engineered wood and solid timber, powder-coated and brushed metal, glass, mirror, laminate and veneer finishes, with integrated LED lighting.
Finish selection is driven by traffic. A footwear wall in a mall takes physical abuse that a jewellery display never sees, and specifying the same laminate for both is how fixtures start looking tired in eighteen months.
Made in our own facility
Fixtures are detailed, fabricated, finished and dry-assembled at our Delhi facility before they ship, so problems surface on our floor rather than in a live mall at midnight.
Controlling the floor also means a revision is scheduled rather than negotiated. On a retail programme something always needs to change, usually late, usually after a site survey contradicts the drawing.
