Where commercial work overlaps with retail
A reception desk and a cash counter are the same engineering problem: a hard-wearing surface at a fixed height, concealing services, carrying brand identity, and taking constant contact without looking worn within a year.
That overlap is why our retail manufacturing transfers directly. The joinery standards, the finish selection driven by traffic, and the practice of dry-assembling before dispatch all apply unchanged to a workplace fitout.
Boardrooms and bespoke corporate pieces
Our completed commercial work to date is bespoke furniture rather than full office fitouts, both delivered in Gurugram in 2024.
A 14-seater conference table for a law firm was milled from a single walnut slab, with a hollow chamfered steel base engineered to route the electrical and AV bundle out of sight through a 2-inch profile. A lounge chair commission in full-grain leather and molded teak resolved ergonomic support inside a stark minimalist silhouette using multi-stage steam bending.
Both are the pieces a room gets judged on — the ones people photograph.
What a commercial fitout enquiry gets
The trades that make up a commercial interior — electrical, flooring, partition paneling, gypsum ceilings, painting, joinery — are the same ones delivered on every turn-key retail store in our portfolio, at comparable and often larger floorplates.
What we have not yet delivered is a complete office fitout under one contract. We say so when we quote, and scope accordingly rather than overpromising a category we are still building a track record in.
