Project Overview
The Challenge
Rolling out eight stores to one specification is a different problem from building one store well. Every unit differs — column positions, ceiling height, shutter type, shopfront shape — while the brand elements must not differ at all. A customer should not be able to tell one Power store from another, and cost has to stay predictable across the programme rather than being renegotiated site by site.
Our Solution
The fixture specification was frozen after the first store, and components were produced in batches at the factory rather than re-detailed for each site. Site-specific work was separated into its own small scope per store, which kept the standard package stable and made the cost of each new unit predictable. At 570 sq.ft. the footwear layout was resolved fully on paper before anything was cut — there is no room to adjust a fixture on site in a unit that size.
